I’ve worked out that even with my ridiculous spending last term, if I’m sensible and budget properly this term I can afford my rent and to eat - always good. However, if I work this summer and pay back my overdraft, use my bursary in September to get myself a new laptop, live sensibly next year when we have the house and do the same restaurant work I’ve done the last two years next Christmas, I should be able to afford flights for a bloody good holiday next summer. This makes me very excited. Now I just have to learn how to be sensible with money.
Sometimes, I hate living between two cities.
Last night I slept with someone from St. John (ew). He’s my friend’s boyfriend’s housemate, so I can pretty much guarantee I’ll see him again, awkward. Also, his Mum called him mid-way through morning sex, he answered. Not. Cool.
